BLACKPINK’s Jennie to Drop First Solo Single Since ‘You & Me’ in October
BLACKPINK member Jennie Kim has some pretty exciting solo ventures in the pipeline. The singer, who set up her own company, ODD Atelier, in late 2023, has officially signed on to Columbia Records and is set to release new music very soon.
On September 8, 2024, Columbia Records announced its new partnership with Jennie and ODD Atelier via a collaborative Instagram post. “We are family,” the caption read. The post included two pictures of the star dressed in all-black, posing against a bright red backgroundSince setting up ODD Atelier, Jennie has gone on to do multiple projects across fashion, music, and entertainment. Among other things, she made her runway debut with Jacquemus in June, released collaborations with Brockhampton’s Matt Champion and Zico, and recorded various variety programs like Apartment 404 and My Name is Gabriel, which streams on Hulu. The star also teased an unreleased song in a Beats commercial this past June.
